Born in Aarhus, Denmark in 1974.
Educated cabinetmaker and production technologist specializing in product development and design.
Has worked with furniture design and product development at the Danish company TræDesign from 2012 until the establishment of Bennetzen Furniture in 2017.
The inspiration came from a fascination with architecture that created a curiosity and interest in making furniture.
“Designing furniture is exciting because it gives me a realistic opportunity to create my own work. My own piece of art.
It was only natural to me to learn the craftsmanship – train as a cabinetmaker and specialize in working with wood.
My goal was always to do my very own designs”.
